I will be at a few WordPress talks this year, and I'm so proud of these organizations and their amazing conferences!
First up, WITSummit in Irvine, CA. I attended last year and was so impressed by the organization and ambition of this group (now renamed She's Wanderful), but also the amazing friends I made. My talk is 10 WordPress tools and plugins to make your WordPress site snap, crackle and pop (but not crash) and we'll cover security, speed optimization and other important WP topics, targeted to bloggers.
WordCamp San Diego
This is my first time at WCSD and I'm looking forward to this wifi-free (yes, you read that right!) 2-day geekfest for any level of WP user. I'm giving my House with no walls: Creating a site structure for the future talk, with some new surprises.
Always a great event, I'm looking forward to giving my talk on freelancing ups and downs at the end of April.
An exclusive travel blogger conference, it's a 4-day, 3-night small-group environment with a lot of one-on-ones. I'll be talking all things WordPress and how to have a great site.
Local to Chicago in
May (this conference has been rescheduled to September 10), this groundbreaking conference emphasizes connection and real conversation over the usual rigamarole. There are three tracks: Technology, Business and Social Media. My talk, Insecure, Unsafe & Slow: 10 Ways to Improve Your WordPress Website, will create a game plan to make your site the best it can be — and keep it there.
See you there!
