Challenge
Create a vibrant, user-friendly membership site for Dame Collective—an online community for women over 40 seeking freelance or full-time work. The platform needed to showcase each member’s professional experience and portfolio while celebrating creativity, individuality, and empowerment—without relying on clichéd visuals.

Solution
I designed a colorful, welcoming interface that feels both playful and purposeful. Each user can create a media-rich profile, upload images, and share samples of their work. Profiles are fully editable and designed to highlight each woman’s expertise in a clean, visually engaging format. I used carefully selected stock illustrations to represent creativity and diversity without leaning on outdated tropes about women in the workplace.

Outcome
The finished site, thedamecollective.com, offers a dynamic, uplifting experience tailored to a demographic often underserved by traditional platforms. It empowers users to present themselves with confidence and style, helping them connect with new opportunities and a supportive professional network.
